WebAug 22, 2011 · On my 1992 Lund Tyee I used the Tilt Stop (flip lever on the side) for 17 years and many many road miles. I sold that boat in 2010 and the transom was as functional and strong as ever. So if the motor can travel in the up position with the Tilt Stop, I would think the M-Y Wedge is more than adequate.
