The gearbox on the mower seized up last week so i took it off and took it to the local Kubota dealer. They just called and said the gearbox is cracked and that means it would cost as much as a new one to repair. Your F3080 deck gearbox may be different but the gearbox in F3060 (deck RC72R-F30 ) is US made and easy to overhaul 90 degree design. It has standard off the shelve bearings and shaft oil seals.
